Many users ask us if it is possible to switch from their Popp Hub 2 to Z-Wave.Me firmware. Yes, it is and it is absolutely free!

Upgrade steps:

1. Make a backup. Done
2. Enter your UUID and Confirm upgrade
   🛈 The UUID can be found on the controller back or in Expert UI (http://IP:8083/expert) → Network → Controller Info → UUID
3. Reboot your controller with internet cable connected: remove the mounting frame, unplug the power cable and use it to push in the reset button Done
   🛈 The reset button is located in the hole near the corner of the Ehternet port. It is white compared to other brown buttons.
4. Plug the power cable back. Wait 5 minutes and use your browser to connect to your upgraded Hub. You can use find.z-wave.me to locate your Hub IP address.
   ⚠ Your Wi-Fi network will change from Popp-xxxx to Z-Wave.Me-xxxx
   ⚠ Make sure to clear browser cache and cookies before opening the Hub user interface.
